Step by step
- Create a budgetWeb: Accounting → Budgets → New. Add lines: account, amount per period, period (monthly / quarterly / yearly), and optionally a branch, business unit, and a CAPEX/OPEX tag.
- Run budget-vs-actualOpen the variance report for the budget — each account shows budgeted, actual, variance and variance % over the budget’s date range.
- Read CAPEX vs OPEXTotals roll up CAPEX and OPEX separately, so capital spend and running costs are judged apart.
