Each cashier should have their own login, scoped to the branch they work at. That makes every sale, refund and cash count attributable to a person, and keeps cashiers to their own outlet. Set them up once and they sign in to the POS app.
Step by step
- Add the cashier as a userWeb: open Users and add the cashier with a cashier role — see users & roles.
- Scope them to a branchLimit the cashier to the outlet(s) they work at, so they only sell and see there.
- They sign in to the POS appThe cashier signs in on the POS app with the store code and their login; their sales and shift are recorded under them.
Where to find it
Web: the Users screen. Cashiers then use the POS app on Android/Sunmi.
Per-cashier logins are what make shift & cash-drawer accountability work.
