How to transfer cash or stock from the POS app

Android Sunmi Updated Aug 2026

At day’s end an outlet often needs to send its cash to the bank or head office, and busy branches need to move stock to another location. The POS app does both from the counter: a Money Transfer moves funds from this outlet’s account to a main account, and a Stock Transfer sends products to another branch or warehouse — each fully recorded, so nothing goes untracked.

Step by step

  1. Open TransferPOS (Android/Sunmi): open Transfer and choose what to transfer — money or stock.
  2. Money: pick the accountsFor a Money Transfer, set From account (this outlet) and To account (main), enter the Amount, and confirm. You’ll see Transfer recorded — the outlet’s cash balance drops and the main account rises.
  3. Stock: choose destination and itemsFor a Stock Transfer, choose the destination location and the products/quantities to send, then confirm — the stock moves out of this outlet toward the other location.
  4. Track itThe receiving branch confirms incoming stock; see warehouse & transfers for how in-transit stock is received.

Why do it from the POS

Cash sweeps and stock moves usually wait for someone to sit at a back-office PC — which means they’re done late or forgotten, and the books drift. Doing them at the counter, when they actually happen, keeps outlet cash and stock accurate in real time.

Transfers respect roles — a cashier only sees the actions their role allows.
