How to find aged and slow-moving stock
Obsolete stock ties up cash and eventually gets written off. RushFlow’s Aged / Slow-Moving Stock report classifies your on-hand inventory by how long since it last sold — fresh, slow, stale or dead — and totals the at-risk value, so you can clear aging stock in time and size a realistic write-down provision.
Step by step
- Open the reportWeb: Products → Aged / Slow-Moving Stock.
- Set the age thresholdsAdjust the day thresholds — Slow (default 30), Stale (90), Dead (180) — and Apply. Anything never sold or past the dead threshold is classed dead.
- Act on the at-risk valueEach product shows on hand, unit cost, value, last-sold date and an age class. Clear stale and dead lines with promotions, bundles or transfers before they’re a write-off.
