- Create categoriesWeb: in the catalogue settings, create your categories. App: the Inventory workspace → categories.
- Add subcategoriesBreak categories into subcategories where it helps (e.g. Clothing → Menswear, Womenswear).
- Assign productsPut each product in a category/subcategory (import can set this in bulk).
- Use them everywhereFilter the POS, browse the online store, and report by category.
