- Let RushFlow build the codeThe SKU is assembled from your company code, a 2-digit category (and subcategory) segment pinned the first time you use that category, and a 6-digit sequence.
- Save — the code is permanentOnce assigned, an auto-SKU never changes on edit, so labels, barcodes and history stay valid forever. Manual codes are still fully supported if you prefer your own.
Why collision-free matters
When several cashiers or admins add products at once, naive numbering can hand out the same code twice. RushFlow allocates the sequence with a single atomic database step, so every code is unique even under heavy concurrent use — no duplicated or skipped numbers.
