How to build your own report in RushFlow
Beyond the ready-made reports, RushFlow has a report builder — a safe, self-service way to build exactly the report you want over your sales, purchases, expenses, customers or products. Pick the columns, add filters, group and total, then preview it live, save it, and export to CSV.
Step by step
- Open the report builderWeb: in the Reports area, open the Report Builder.
- Choose a subjectPick what the report is about — sales, purchases, expenses, customers or products.
- Pick fields and filtersTick the columns you want, add filters (for example a date range or a status), and choose how to sort.
- Summarize (optional)Switch on Summarize to group by a field (say, branch or customer) and total measures like amount or quantity.
- Preview, save and exportPreview the result live, save it with a name to run again later, and export to CSV whenever you need it.
Names, not IDs
Related details resolve to readable names — a sales report can show the customer and branch names, a purchases report the supplier, an expenses report the category and account, and a products report the category and brand.
It only ever reads your own data
The builder is limited to a fixed set of reportable fields, so a report can only ever read the data you’re allowed to see. It’s designed to be safe to hand to managers.
Frequently asked questions
What can I build a report on?
Sales, purchases, expenses, customers and products. You pick the columns, filters, sorting and (optionally) grouping and totals.
Can I save and re-run a report I built?
Yes. Save it with a name and run it again any time, or export the results to CSV.
Can I show customer or supplier names instead of IDs?
Yes. Related fields resolve to names — customer, branch, supplier, category, account, brand — so reports read naturally.
