How to fix a USB printer that isn’t detected

If a USB receipt printer isn’t detected, it’s usually the cable, the OTG adapter, or USB permission on the phone. Check the physical connection first, then the app.

Step by step

  1. Check the cable and OTG adapterPhones need a USB-OTG adapter to talk to a USB printer. Confirm the adapter and cable are good and the printer is powered on.
  2. Allow USB accessWhen prompted, allow the app to access the USB device. Reconnect if you dismissed the prompt.
  3. Select it in RushFlowIn Settings → Printing, choose USB, pick the printer, and print a test.
