How to print barcode and price labels from the app

Android Web Updated Aug 2026

RushFlow prints product barcode and price labels straight to thermal label printers, speaking the three common label languages — TSPL, ESC/POS and ZPL — so it works with the label printer you already have. Pick a label size (for example the 38×25mm preset), choose what to show, and print a sheet or a single tag. No separate label-design software required.

Step by step

  1. Generate the barcodeEvery product can carry a barcode. If a product has none, generate one in the product screen so it can be scanned at checkout and printed on a label.
  2. Open label printingFrom a product (or a purchase receipt, to label new stock), choose Print labels. Select your label printer and its language — TSPL, ESC/POS or ZPL.
  3. Choose the label size and fieldsPick a label preset such as 38×25mm, and choose which fields appear: product name, price, barcode and variant. Set the quantity of labels to print.
  4. PrintSend to the label printer. Print one tag or a batch — for example, one label per unit received on a purchase.

Label languages explained

Thermal label printers speak different command languages. RushFlow supports the three you are most likely to meet, so you are not locked to one brand:

If you are unsure which language your printer uses, check its manual — most list TSPL, ZPL or ESC/POS on the spec sheet.
LanguageCommon printers
TSPLTSC and many generic thermal label printers
ZPLZebra label printers
ESC/POSReceipt-style printers that also print labels

When to print labels

Labelling keeps checkout fast and accurate:

  • When you receive new stock on a purchase — label each unit
  • When prices change — reprint price labels
  • For products sold by barcode scan rather than search
