How to connect a cash drawer

A cash drawer normally connects through the receipt printer (an RJ-style “kick” port), so the same printer RushFlow prints to also opens the drawer. When a cash payment completes, the drawer pops automatically.
Step by step
- Plug the drawer into the printerConnect the cash drawer’s cable to the drawer/kick port on your receipt printer.
- Confirm the printer is set upMake sure your receipt printer is already working in RushFlow (see Print receipts from the phone).
- Take a cash saleComplete a cash payment; the receipt prints and the drawer opens.
