How the customer data platform (CDP) works
Web
Updated Aug 2026
Meta Manager includes a lightweight customer data platform (CDP). It merges a person’s identities - their Facebook id (_fbp), email, phone and external id - into one customer, builds a timeline of their activity, and scores their lead, engagement and intent. So a shopper who messages you and later buys is one profile, not three.
What it does
- Identity merge across _fbp / email / phone / external id
- A unified timeline of messages, events and activity
- Lead, engagement and intent scoring
This complements RushFlow’s core customer 360 - the CDP focuses on Meta/social identity and scoring.
Where to find it
Web: Meta Manager → Customers; open a customer to see their merged profile, timeline and scores.
Frequently asked questions
Does Meta Manager know a Facebook lead and a buyer are the same person?
Yes. Its CDP merges identities (Facebook id, email, phone, external id) into one customer with a unified timeline and lead/engagement/intent scores.
