How Meta Manager analytics and attribution work

Web Updated Aug 2026

Meta Manager turns your tracked events into analytics: a funnel (View → Add to cart → Checkout → Purchase), source attribution, a pixel match-quality score, a live event stream, and ROAS from stored ad insights. It tells you what your Meta presence actually drives.

What you can see

  • Funnel from view to purchase
  • Which source/channel drove conversions (attribution)
  • Pixel match-quality score - how well events match to people
  • A live stream of incoming events
  • ROAS (return on ad spend) from stored campaign insights
Funnel, attribution, match quality and the live stream come from your own tracked events (work out of the box). ROAS/ad-insight pull is credential-gated - it needs the marketing permission and tokens.

Improving match quality

A higher match-quality score means Meta can attribute more of your events to real people, improving optimisation. Sending richer, hashed identifiers via the Conversions API raises it.

Frequently asked questions

Can I see ROAS and my funnel in Meta Manager?

Yes. Analytics shows the view-to-purchase funnel, source attribution, pixel match-quality and a live event stream from your own events; ROAS is pulled from stored ad insights once you connect ad data.
