RushFlow works in a browser and as dedicated apps — and each is best at different things. Use the dedicated app for selling (it adds offline mode, built-in printing and device support a browser can’t do reliably), and the browser for back-office work at a desk.
What the dedicated app adds
It’s not either/or — the app and the browser share one account and the same data. Cashiers use the app; you do back-office on the web.
| Capability | Dedicated app | Browser |
|---|---|---|
| Sell with no internet | Yes — offline mode | No, needs a connection |
| Built-in Sunmi / thermal printing | Yes, direct | Limited |
| Bluetooth / USB printer & scanner | Yes | Unreliable |
| ZKTeco attendance bridge | Yes (Android gateway) | No |
| Back-office, reports, settings | Yes | Yes — great on a laptop |
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to use the app, or can I use a browser?
Both. Use the dedicated app for selling (it adds offline mode, built-in printing and device support the browser can’t), and the browser for back-office work. They share one account and data.
Why can’t the browser sell offline?
A browser POS needs a live connection and can’t reliably reach a built-in printer or device. The dedicated app is built for that, so it keeps selling offline and prints directly.
