How to lock the management app with Face ID, fingerprint or a PIN
Your phone holds your whole business. The management app can require an unlock — Face ID, fingerprint, or a PIN — every time it’s opened, so a lost or borrowed phone doesn’t expose your sales, cash and staff data. The lock is device-local: it only gates access to the already-signed-in workspace, needs no backend, and stores no credentials on any server.
Step by step
- Open app-lock settingsApp: go to Security → App lock (in Settings).
- Turn on the lockEnable the app lock and set a PIN as your fallback.
- Enable biometrics (optional)Turn on biometric unlock to use Face ID / fingerprint, with the PIN as backup if biometrics fail.
- Test itSend the app to the background and reopen it — it should ask to unlock before revealing anything.
How it protects you
The lock gates access to a session that stays in the device’s encrypted secure storage — it doesn’t re-authenticate you to the server, so it’s fast, and it works even offline. If someone picks up your unlocked phone, they still can’t open RushFlow without your face, fingerprint or PIN.
Frequently asked questions
Can I require Face ID or a fingerprint to open the app?
Yes. In Security → App lock you can require biometric or PIN unlock every time the app opens. It’s device-local, stores no credentials on a server, and works offline.
Is the app lock the same as my password?
No. The app lock gates access to the already-signed-in app on your device; your account password and two-factor protect the account itself.
