How VIP cards and automatic VIP pricing work
Reward your best customers with member pricing. In RushFlow, a customer can hold a VIP card number; when it’s presented at the till, they automatically get VIP pricing on products that have a VIP price. The VIP Cards screen is a spend report — each carded customer with their total spend and how often the card was used.
Step by step
- Make a customer VIPWeb: on the customer’s record, mark them VIP and record their VIP card number.
- Set VIP prices on productsGive products a VIP price (a VIP discount amount or percent). That’s what a VIP customer pays.
- Sell at VIP pricingAt the POS, when a VIP customer’s card is presented, VIP pricing is applied automatically at checkout.
- Review the spend reportOpen VIP Cards to see each carded customer’s total spend, use count and issue date.
What VIP is — and isn’t
VIP here means automatic VIP product pricing plus a spend report. It is not a points-accrual or tiered-loyalty program — there’s no points balance to earn and burn. If you want spendable balances, use gift cards or store credit instead.
Frequently asked questions
Does RushFlow have VIP or member pricing?
Yes. A customer with a VIP card gets automatic VIP pricing at checkout on products that have a VIP price, and the VIP Cards screen reports each card’s spend and usage.
Is it a loyalty points program?
No. VIP is automatic VIP pricing plus a spend report, not a points-accrual scheme. For spendable balances use gift cards or store credit.
