How to import your whole product catalogue at once

Web Updated Aug 2026

If you’re moving to RushFlow with an existing catalogue, you don’t type each product — you import them in bulk from a spreadsheet. Prepare a file with the right columns, upload it, map the columns, and RushFlow creates the products with their prices, costs and opening stock.

Step by step

  1. Open the import toolWeb: go to Products and choose Import. Download the sample/template file so your columns match what RushFlow expects.
  2. Prepare your spreadsheetFill the template: product name, code/SKU or barcode, selling price, cost, category, and opening stock per branch. Keep one product per row; leave the code blank if you want RushFlow to auto-generate a SKU.
  3. Upload and map columnsUpload the file and confirm each spreadsheet column maps to the right RushFlow field. Fix any rows the tool flags (e.g. a missing price).
  4. Run the importImport. RushFlow creates the products; duplicates are caught by duplicate detection so you don’t create the same item twice.
  5. Spot-check the resultOpen a few imported products and confirm price, cost and stock look right, then start selling.

Where to find it

Web: Products → Import. Bulk import is a web task; once imported, products sync to the POS and management apps.

Get costs right on import so margin and valuation are correct from day one.

Frequently asked questions

Can I import my existing product list?

Yes. Use Products → Import, fill the template (name, code, price, cost, opening stock), upload, map the columns and run the import. Duplicate detection prevents importing the same item twice.

What if a product has no barcode?

Leave the code blank and RushFlow can auto-generate a structured SKU on import.
