How RushFlow keeps every device in sync

Android Sunmi Web Updated Aug 2026

RushFlow uses delta sync: instead of re-downloading everything, each device asks the server only for what has changed since it last synced, and pushes only the sales it recorded while offline. That keeps sync fast and light — even on a weak mobile connection — and lets many cashiers and branches share one accurate picture of stock and takings.

Two directions of sync

Sync runs in the background whenever a connection is available:

  • Push — sales, returns and cash movements recorded on the device are sent to the server, where they post to inventory and accounting.
  • Pull — new or changed products, prices, taxes and customers are downloaded so the device stays current with edits made elsewhere.

Why sales never collide

Each sale is created on the device with its own identity and simply added to the ledger on the server — sales are additive, so two cashiers selling at once never overwrite each other. Stock is reduced per sale as each one arrives, and the server is the single source of truth for the final figures.

Because every sale is an independent record, going offline and syncing later produces the same accounts as if every sale had been online in real time.

Multiple devices and branches

Run several tills in one shop and many shops in one company. Each device syncs to the same server, so head office sees consolidated sales and stock while each outlet keeps its own register and cash drawer.

  • Per-device and per-cashier accountability
  • Per-branch stock and reporting, rolled up to the company
  • Catalogue and price changes flow to every device on next sync

Frequently asked questions

What is delta sync?

Delta sync means a device downloads only what changed since its last sync and uploads only its new sales, instead of transferring the whole database every time. It keeps sync fast on weak connections.

Can two cashiers sell the same item at once?

Yes. Each sale is an independent record added to the server ledger, so concurrent sales never overwrite one another; stock is reduced as each sale arrives.

How do I force a sync?

Sync runs automatically in the background, but you can pull to refresh or use the sync action in the POS app to push and pull immediately.
