A biometric device is optional. If you don’t have a ZKTeco reader, you can record attendance manually — mark who worked — so leave, hours and payroll still work. You can add a device later and it slots straight in.
Step by step
- Open attendanceWeb: open the HR attendance area. App: the HRM workspace → Attendance.
- Mark who workedRecord attendance for the day/period for each employee.
- It feeds payrollManual attendance flows into hours and payroll the same way device punches do — see attendance to payroll.
Where to find it
Web: HR attendance. Management app (Android/iOS): the HRM workspace → Attendance.
Add a ZKTeco device later to automate it — nothing about your setup has to change.
