How to create an API access token
To connect RushFlow to your own tools or a custom integration, you need a key. API Access lets an owner mint, list and revoke access tokens for programmatic use. Tokens are owner-controlled and scoped to your business, so an integration only ever sees your own data.
Step by step
- Open API AccessWeb: API Access (in administration). It shows your active tokens.
- Create a tokenGive the token a name (so you remember what it’s for) and create it. Copy it immediately — for security it’s shown once.
- Use itSend the token as a bearer token to the RushFlow API. Everything the token can reach is automatically limited to your business.
- Revoke when doneRevoke a token you no longer need (or that may be exposed); revoked tokens stop working immediately.

API access is an owner-level capability and may depend on your plan including it. Treat a token like a password — anyone holding it can act as your integration, so store it securely and revoke it if in doubt.
