How to see who changed what with the audit log

Web Updated Aug 2026

When something changes and you need to know who and when, the Audit Log has the answer. RushFlow records one row per audited action — records created, updated and deleted, plus events like printed, exported or approved — capturing the user, their role, the time, the IP address, and what changed (the before and after values). It’s accountability without anyone having to remember to write it down.

Step by step

  1. Open the audit logWeb: Audit Log (in administration). Entries are listed newest first.
  2. Filter to what you needFilter by user, event type or date to narrow down to the change you’re investigating.
  3. Read the changeAn entry shows who did it, when, from what IP, on which record, and — for edits — the old and new values.

Why it matters

For a business with staff, an audit trail is how you resolve “who deleted this?” or “who changed that price?” quickly and fairly — and it’s often expected for compliance. Because it’s automatic, it captures the truth without relying on anyone’s memory.

The audit log complements security settings and role-based permissions.
